Born -- January 26, 1975 -- Monroe, NC

Saved -- June 2, 1980 at Galilee Baptist Church                                                       Monroe, NC

Surrendered to Preach -- July 1984 at Youth Camp at                                               Galilee Baptist Church

Music Director of Bright Light Baptist Church at age of sixteen in 1991.

Teen Sunday School Class Teacher at BLBC at age eighteen in 1993.

Assistant Pastor of BLBC from June 1995 – October 1997

Ordained to the Gospel Ministry on May 25th, 1997

Pastor of Walter’s Grove from November 1997 – Present

Graduated from Carolina Bible College on
June 4, 2005 with Th.D. (Doctor of Theology)

World Missions
When he became pastor, WGBC's Missions Giving total for 1997 was 10,800. In the Year 2006 the total was 135,000 to the Glory of God.

Young People
Youth Rallies, Youth Camp, Trips and the School are a main priority of the ministry of WGBC.

Bus Ministry
From 1 Van route in ' 97 with 8-15 riders to 3 Bus Routes with an Average of 90 riders per week in 2006.

On his dying bed after 4 years of suffering through a Heart attack and Kidney Dialysis he was asked by his son Ronnie, "Dad how is it to know you're dying?"  His reply was, "his grace is wonderful and it works!"




Dr. Percy Ray

Founder of Camp Zion of Myrtle Miss.

Dr. Simpson says "Dr. Ray  is the most Powerful Man of God he has ever met."

Dr. Ray spent many hours in the home of  Dr. Simpson during his youth.

Some of Dr. Simpson's greatest childhood memories are the Revivals that Dr. Ray preached at Galilee Baptist Church in Monroe, NC and going to Camp Zion two weeks out of the year in March & August.

Dr. Simpson preached three different times at Camp Zion when he was a Young man.

At age 10, 11, 12 for 5 minutes each time

Dr. Ronnie Simpson preached 11 times at Camp Zion in the late 70s and early 80s!

Full Time Evangelist since retiring from Pastorate.

Dr. Simpson says of Dr. Biddle "he is a great man of Character and one who he patterns his life after."

Bro. Bobby carries the title as the World's Smallest Evangelist at 3 ft. 9 1/2 in.

He was preaching the youth camp at Galilee Baptist Church in 1984 when Dr. Simpson surrendered to preach.











Bro. Jim Hill

A great friend and Fellow Laborer at WGBC.

He went home to be with the Lord July 31, 2006.
